Art of Armenian Photography Contest Winners Announced.
Laszlo Lorand Lieszkovszky, a US Peace Corps volunteer serving in Vanadzor, Armenia, is a First Place Winner in the 2008 Art of Armenian Photography Contest, sponsored by Stone Garden Productions. Lieszkovszky earned First Place in the category of Historic Sites with his panoramic photograph of Noravank and the surrounding hills dusted with a light cover of snow.

The other winners in this year’s Art of Armenian Photography Contest are Eli Burak, of Windsor, Vermont, whose image of Mt. Aragats earned him First Place in the Landscapes category; and Balazs Pataki, of Brussels, Belgium, whose portrait of a woman in a crowded market captured First Place in the Portraits category.

The international photography competition was open to both professional and non-professional photographers and drew entries from the US, Canada, Belgium, Armenia, and Hungary. View the winning photos.
